Yay, I have a frost valley trip within my school coming up very soon. It is a branch of the YMCA. It is up in the mountains and it is around twenty degrees colder there than here. We do all sorts of cool stuff like tubing, cross-country skiing and.... other stuff!!!! I dont know why Im posting this but im very excited!!  there's its logo, and here r more pics:  Summer!! |

I think that I will post my homework up here if I can so pple can critisize me and I wont
just be sitting here and not getting any comments.
first off, an assignment. Take a scene or two from the myth Beowulf and rewrite it in Grendels perspective. here is what I handed in. if you think I got a good score on it, leave a comment with only the letter g in it. I saw this hall, Heorot, and now I am going to destroy it. The singing and noise
makes me go wild with anger. I plan to creep up when they are expecting some mere
man to come and kill again, and surprise them when they are expecting one mere person.
I will kill the king and eat everyone in it. Even if I don’t knock Heorot down, I will still stop all good activities occurring in it. Tomorrow I will strike Heorot and kill everyone inside it.
Tonight I will strike. Right now I am creeping up on those fools. I am so hungry, this trip to Heorot will serve two purposes, ridding the world of yet more good people, and also, giving me a nice big meal! I can’t wait till I get to Heorot. This will probably be more efficient for me than when the time period people threw their dead into the fen. This, hopefully will finally teach people that they should always be evil, be evil or die! That’s my motto, or at least it would be, if it were more evil.
I am now, finally, at hall Heorot. I am about to Barge in. “Grendel, son of Cain, come into hall of Heorot now. It is Beowulf, son of Ecthegeow. It is Beowulf, not afraid of you. It is Beowulf, come to kill you! “ BAM. “Grawwwwwwl!” I came, only because it was my nature, charging at one of the sleeping soldiers, putting out all the lights on my way, only because of running speed. MUNCH GOBBLE. “Mmmmm, it tastes good, unfortunately it is all I can eat, because I am allergic to most everything else. “I will eat you all, one by one.”
“What is this???” “Ah, another human morsel I can eat.” “Where has he gone?” “Ahhh don’t, n-n-no puh please don’t eat me, fu-for for I am on yu-yu-your su-su-su side!” said Unferth. “Foolish human, you think you are evil? I would pity you, but unfortunately for you I am more evil than tha --- AOWwWw!
Oh my god, who is this that seems to have unlimited power! He is as strong as the light and goodness of the sun! “Grawww-Ow” I will not let this foolish – yet strong human kill the almighty over powerful Grendel – Son of Cain!
I tried to use dirty tricks, but his grip stayed strong. Just as if being held by his evil grip wasn’t bad enough, he then started to talk. “Light holds you, Grendel. Light has you in its power. You, who have shunned the sun, meet me, once stung by bees that drank the sun. There’s honey in my veins, Grendel, a liquid sunlight that can kill you quite. These fingers that you feel are ten great stars. Stars have no fear. I do not fear you, Grendel. I do not fear, therefore I do not fight. I only hold you, child of Cain. I only fix you fast in your own evil, so that you cannot turn it out on any other. It is your own evil, Grendel, that undoes you. You must die, creature of night, because the light has got you in a last embrace.
I think I am going crazy. I finally realize that what I was doing was wrong – Wait, what has this Beowulf done to me? What is going on? “Grawwwwl”, my arm – he ripped out my arm! I know I am crazy, I am just going to get out of here, and get my revenge later. “GRAAAWWWWWWLLLLL” |

people who used to like Magic: the gathering, or still like it, I have thought of a way to trade cards online. people send each other the name of the card they are trading, its stats, and what stats you want on a card you want to trade it for. This idea was inspired by the website my sister is a member of, where you trade different perfumes that you by on the website with other people that are members.

this friday (2/25/05) i went to a chinese opera. right now it is 11:00 so i will jist say that nearing the end my frappachino put me into a wake-up, go to sleep phase. every few minutes i woke, then fell asleep. |

i find that almost everything that has to do with calculating time(hour, minute, second, month, year) makes absolutely no sense, unless in another language. I do not understand why they made weekends and weekdays their names, because their names make SENSE! I think that maybe everything like hour, minute, so on might of been already used before, so it was good already, but the government had to come in and make 2 words that make sense. I now hate the government even more than when George W. Bush was elected. |
